Meet Our Teachers

Miss Brooke, Director

 

Ms. Brooke is our director! She has 8 years experience in teaching! Ms. Brooke obtained her BA degree in Human Development from Cal State East Bay. She first joined Storyland in 2020 and has has been teaching in a preschool setting since 2015. Brooke comes from a family of 4 and spends most of her spare time with her little brother at the baseball field. She loves her dog Rookie and spends as much time as she can with her friends and family.

Miss Brittney, Sunshine Room Teacher & Assistant Director

 

Ms. Brittney is the head teacher in the Sunshine Room and currently leads our Tranditional Kindergarten program at Storyland. She began as an LHS ROP student and officially joined our team in 2018. Brittney is working towards attaining her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Development. In her spare time, she is working torwards this goal. Brittney enjoys going on adventures with her pup Oliver, strolling farmers markets, and spending time with loved ones.

Miss Brittney D., Little Owls Teacher

 

Miss Brittney is the head teacher of the Little Owls. She is a mommy to a 6-year-old boy named Ethan and he is her best friend. She started working in childcare centers soon after he was born and fell in love with teaching. Aside from being a teacher and a mom, she enjoys cooking, traveling, spending time in nature, visiting Disneyland, photography and spending time with family and friends.

Miss Alaina, Bay Room Teacher

 

Ms. Alaina or Miss Lainey is the assistant teacher in the Bay Room. Miss Lainey is 23 years old. She is the oldest of 7 siblings.She has been working with kids since 2019 both in preschools and in ABA. She plans to open her own small family daycare in the near future. Her favorite thing to do is eat(she is a foodie) and write music.

Miss Aaliyah, Little Monkeys Teacher

 

Ms. Aaliyah is the one of the coteachers in the Little Monkeys class. She completed an ROP program at her high school for Early Childhood Development which lead her to pursue credentials and a career as an early childhood educator. She first began at Storyland in May of 2022. Aaliyah comes from a family of 6 siblings and loves soccer. In her spare time she enjoys arts                                    and crafts, spending time outdoors and hiking.

Miss Aanchal, Little Monkeys Teacher

 

Ms. Aanchal is one of the coteachers in the Little Monkeys class. She is a fully qualified preschool teacher and has been working with children as an educator since 2001. Aanchal has previously lived in Germany and India and is fluent in German, English and Hindi. 
 

Miss Patty, Little Stars Teacher

 

Ms. Patty is a fully qualified preschool teacher who is passionate about her profession. She began working as an early childhood educator in April of 2007 and first joined Storyland in March of 2018. Ms. Patty is bilingual in English and Spanish. She enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 children and has a passion for art.

Miss Chrissy, SubstituteTeacher

 

Ms.Chrissy first joined Storyland in November of 2023 as a substitute teacher. She is a fully qualified preschool teacher with over 17 years of experience as an early childhood educator.
